Zoo-rific Day!

Because we woke up to such a beautiful morning, we decided at the last minute to head to the Philadelphia Zoo last weekend. We must have arrived at the zoo during the animals' naptime, since many of them seemed to be hiding or sleeping during our visit, but we were still able to catch a glimpse of several of our favorite animals, including the tigers, giraffes, polar bears, and orangutans.

We loved this sweet family. The baby clutched on to its mom as she walked around, and the dad was hiding behind this sheet. It was so funny!

...and this little baby clutched on to her mom too...always a good time for some hugs!

This was our favorite part of the day. The baby giraffe was just born this summer.
