This was a turkey craft we did together. Reese helped me print out the template, glue the pieces together, and look for leaves outside for his feathers. Here she is posing with her turkey. She named him Squanto after the turkey in one of the books we are reading about Thanksgiving.
This was the hat she made at preschool! She has been wearing it all week!
Reese and I made two pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving dinner. She was such a big helper. She helped me count out the ingredients and stir everything together. Too bad we left them in the fridge and didn't realize it until it was too late to turn around to get them, so they never made it to Thanksgiving dinner. =(
Tami did some fun fall crafts with Reese; this thankful list is my favorite. She asked her to list everything she was thankful for. Reese answered completely on her own, while Tami recorded her answers. The last few were definitely drawn from the picture below the list, but the first ones she listed were so funny! Love it!
Here are some of our favorite fall/Thanksgiving related books from this holiday! She especially loved the Berenstain Bears, though anything with a Disney princess on it will quickly become a favorite for Reese these days!
