Easter Sunday Highlights

We had an absolutely fantastic Easter. It was a long day, but more importantly, it was a lovely day filled with family, and laughter, and SUN!!!

The morning started with some Easter traditions. Reese examined the half-eaten carrots she left for the Easter bunny the night before.



Then, she was off on her first Easter egg hunt of the day. She was a pro! We were so impressed. The Easter bunny hid real and plastic eggs all over the house and she found every one of them! I think she was as proud as we were...






The egg hunt ended with Reese searching for her Easter basket. She finally found it in her tent!




In true sweet tooth fashion, she immediately had to sample a Peep!




I think she liked it! =)




Later, we headed to Mema and Pop-Pop's house for Easter dinner. Mema had an outdoor Easter egg hunt set up for her as soon as she got out of the car. She was so excited, and the search began! They have the perfect backyard for an egg hunt, and the pictures are priceless!

Reese had fun playing catch with Uncle Barkie and Yayah (Leah)!

We stopped by the Ehrets house on the way home. Reese was so lucky to get more Easter basket goodies from Aunt Sharon and Nana (Jolene). We are so blessed to have such good people in our lives, who treat our little girl so special!
